Job Summary
Conduct onsite inspections and scope generation for reconstruction and emergency services, completing estimates within 24 hours of assignment using Xactimate or Symbility software. Secure projects by meeting with homeowners, obtaining agreement, and closing opportunities while ensuring minimum gross profit margins. Build and maintain relationships with insurance adjusters, brokers, and TPAs, and serve as the first contact during on-call rotations. Document change orders and insurance supplements, adhere to PDO Health & Safety standards, and maintain a Net Promoter Score of 70. Coordinate multiple jobs within the same time frame while operating a company vehicle and lifting up to 50lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience
- Experience with estimating software
- Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 80% of the time
- The person in this position needs to frequently move about a customer job site (indoors and outdoors)
- Occasionally ascends and descends a ladder to service customer sites
- Constantly operates a computer
- Must be able to communicate and converse with customers over the phone and face to face
- Occasionally will lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
Desired Qualifications
- Industry certifications (IICRC and Lead)
- Experience with writing estimates in Xactimate and Symbility
