Job Summary
Entry-level Field Engineer supports the installation of precast concrete structures and coordinates daily project tasks with field crews and foremen. Responsible for coordinating load schedules, sequencing, and deliveries with dispatch; assisting with layout using survey equipment; reading and interpreting blueprints; monitoring progress and producing daily/weekly reports; assisting with jobsite setup, crane access, and logistics; coordinating equipment, materials, and crew needs; communicating with general contractors and other trades to align activities; supporting inspections (grout, welds) and ensuring safety, quality, and compliance; and contributing to a safe, collaborative, and team-driven field environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or structural engineering
- OSHA 30 certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
- Basic knowledge of construction practices and jobsite safety requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain)
