Job Summary
Field Engineer responsible for providing technical and field support on construction projects, reading and interpreting civil/structural drawings, assisting with layout and survey verification, monitoring quality, coordinating with project personnel, maintaining field records and as-built documentation, and ensuring safety compliance across remote industrial sites. Requires post-secondary education in a related field, experience in construction/industrial field engineering, strong drawing interpretation skills, good communication and problem-solving abilities, and willingness to work on-site in Ontario with travel accommodations provided. DSP CONTRACT also considered. Accommodations and meal/travel support provided; 10-hour shifts; hourly compensation in the stated range.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in construction or industrial field engineering
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in remote and industrial project environments
- Bilingualism (English/French)
- Professional designation or eligibility for registration with a relevant engineering association
