Field Engineer

Job Summary
Coordinate mechanical construction projects by interpreting plans, conducting field measurements, and verifying installation accuracy against design specifications. Assist in planning, execution, and site logistics while providing technical support to troubleshoot challenges and enforce OSHA safety standards. Monitor quality control processes, track progress with the Project Manager, and support documentation including RFIs and daily reports. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. This role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management, 1-3 years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and project management software. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in an outdoor construction environment, including exposure to varying weather conditions
- Ability to walk, stand, and climb ladders or scaffolding as required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary
- Completion of a pre-employment drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in mechanical construction or related industry preferred
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and plumbing
- Familiarity with construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Proficiency in project management software, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on construction environment
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and industry best practices
