Job Summary
Assist project management and field supervision with daily construction operations, coordinating subcontractors and reviewing plans for compliance. Track project progress, perform quantity takeoffs, and prepare daily reports while managing RFIs and material logs. Coordinate inspections with stakeholders and verify field quantities for surveying and layout activities. Identify project issues and communicate them to leadership while promoting safety initiatives. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and minimum 3 years of construction experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering Technology or similar from an accredited institution
- Minimum 3 years of construction experience on heavy civil, bridge, transportation, utility, or infrastructure projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Experience working for a civil infrastructure or heavy civil general contractor
- Proficiency with MS Office
- knowledge of Procore, HCSS, Bluebeam, Primavera
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting structural steel fabrication and erection operations
- Knowledge of AISC standards and structural steel construction practices
- Familiarity with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Procore, HCSS, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or BIM platforms
- Experience with bridge, transit, rail, airport, marine, or tunnel construction projects
- EIT certification or pursuit of PE license
