Job Summary
Field Engineer role providing on-site and deskside end-user support in Des Moines area. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving hardware/software/network issues, configuring end-user PC hardware/software, assisting with VPN, Office 365, Citrix, and printer problems, coordinating warranty repairs with third-party vendors, and providing remote hands for engineering staff. Travel to client sites in the local area is required. Qualifications include 3+ years of end-user support and corporate PC experience; MCTS is desired or equivalent experience. Describes on-site field services and a mix of support activities across hardware, software, and networking.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years providing end-user support for current PC desktop and application software
- 3+ years installing, upgrading, troubleshooting and repairing personal computers in a corporate networked environment
- MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) desired. Any Candidate that does not hold an MCTS, but does hold equivalent experience can work toward compliance as part of a performance improvement plan agreement
