Field Engineer - Starting January 2027 or May 2027

Job Summary
Work with superintendents and foremen to learn building fundamentals, codes, and project budgeting while managing procurement logs, RFIs, and occupancy certifications. Provide input on pre and first installation verification meetings, ensure materials arrive on schedule, and conduct safety walks to enforce and train trade partners on safety policies. Analyze labor and material reports to optimize manpower and costs, utilizing Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Projects to follow core processes and maintain relationships with owners, architects, and trade partners. This in-field Central Iowa position supports project teams through all lifecycle stages, requiring nights and weekends as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management/related degree
- Associate degree in construction management or equivalent field experience
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Strong leadership skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass post-offer employment testing
- Ability to pass a post-offer drug test
- Ability to navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather
- Ability to take and pass OSHA 30 certification
- Ability to work within one of Graham Construction, a 3G Company's operational areas as assigned
- Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary
