Job Summary
The Field Engineer (FE) works closely with the Superintendent in field management, focusing on project layout, safety, quality control, and supervising trade workers. Essential duties include performing production trend analysis, checking concrete forms, coordinating material deliveries, assisting with quality control and site safety initiatives, and collaborating with the VDC team. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in a related field and have 1 year of relevant experience. Strong communication and computer skills are necessary.
Required Qualifications
- A 4-year degree in Civil, Structural, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
- 1 year of experience and/or a combination of education and experience.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Strong communication skills.
- Computer software proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel-based templates, ProjectSight, Primavera and AutoDesk Suite.
Desired Qualifications
- Past internships in the construction industry are preferred, but not required.
