Job Summary
Conduct pro-active customer visits to build trust, install, troubleshoot, and maintain laser printers, networks, CR & DR X-ray imaging equipment, and radio fluoroscopy systems at hospitals and imaging centers. Independently diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems while generating service revenue through solutions aligned with the service portfolio. Manage company assets, including vehicles and test equipment, and adhere to state and federal regulatory requirements. Perform administrative duties such as timesheets, service work orders, and preventative maintenance documentation. Work from a home office with possible overnight travel and occasional stays, utilizing a provided vehicle and laptop.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4+ years of experience in the electronics industry
- experience in a field service environment
- experience in diagnostic imaging
- Knowledge of computers and networking
- PC competency to include utilization of Microsoft Office Suite products
- Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory
- Ability to understand and utilize technical vocabulary
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and site drawings
- Ability to display strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to adapt to changing work requirements
- Ability to effectively operate in a team-driven environment
- Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to communicate, written and verbally, with various levels of employees and customers
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
- driving record that is compliant with Fleet Policy
- Required to adhere to certification/credentialing required by the customer
Desired Qualifications
- BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET
- experience in the electronics industry, preferably in a field service environment

- Complex Medical Device
- Knowledge of Carestream Equipment
