Job Summary
Install and configure ISP services at customer locations, including routers, modems, switches, and related networking equipment. Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, hardware faults, and service disruptions while maintaining accurate documentation of service activities and technical reports. Educate customers on proper equipment usage, relay feedback to Sales and Account Management teams, and collaborate on identifying upsell opportunities. Ensure all installations comply with company policies, SLAs, and regulatory standards through quality checks and routine audits. Maintain a valid driver's license and physical capability to travel to customer sites across Lekki, Lagos.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3–5 years proven experience in network installation within an ISP or telecommunications environment
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, TCP/IP, routers, switches, modems, fiber, and structured cabling
- Proficiency in troubleshooting network connectivity issues
- Familiarity with Windows, Linux, macOS, and network diagnostic tools
- Valid drivers license
- Willingness to travel to customer sites
- Physical capability to lift and install networking equipment
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage field schedules efficiently
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- High level of accountability and professionalism
Desired Qualifications
- Technical certification or Degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field
