Job Summary
Build end-to-end data integrations syncing customer data to and from Scale's platform, optimizing pipelines through API endpoint design and schema input. Design and maintain playbooks, internal tools, documentation, and SDKs to support long-term customer success while partnering with engineers and Operations to resolve technical blockers and debug delivery issues. Own the customer's technical experience throughout their engagement, working with Account Executives and Product Managers to identify feature requests. Develop expertise in large language models, 2D image annotation, and API integrations while representing Scale at major events. Requires an active TS/SCI clearance. Base salary ranges from $150,400 to $226,550 USD depending on location (Washington DC/Hawaii or St. Louis/Suffolk).
Required Qualifications
- An active TS/SCI clearance
- Experience as a customer-facing engineer or in a similar hybrid role
- Hands-on technical experience working with clients in a pre- or post-sales capacity
- Development experience with Python, JavaScript, or other modern languages
- A strong engineering background, ideally in computer science, mathematics, or another quantitative field
- Strong project management and interpersonal skills
- The ability to present credibly to both executives and front-line engineers
- Comfort communicating across internal and external teams
- Intellectual curiosity, empathy, and the ability to move quickly
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in AI
- Experience working in classified environments
- Prior experience as a technical go-to-market resource
- Understanding of DevSecOps principles, including secure software delivery, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm charts
- Experience automating infrastructure with Ansible or similar tools
