Job Summary
Conduct field walkdowns and site surveys to verify layouts, relay RFIs and design clarifications to supervisors, and resolve constructability issues. Support quality inspections by tracking completed tag items, maintain as-built documentation, and review daily installation progress reports. Coordinate directly with foremen and superintendents to provide constraints reports impacting productivity and perform installation audits for accurate client reporting. Requires a BS in Construction Management, experience in electrical and instrumentation construction, and ability to read drawing packages. Schedule is 6/10s with flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Construction Management or related field
- Must have basic knowledge in estimating and controls
- Working knowledge of MS Office software
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawing packages and specifications
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, problem solve, and exercise good judgement with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible, varying hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Regular and reliable attendance at work
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in electrical and instrumentation construction preferred
