Job Summary
Assist Project Managers and Superintendents in engineering, planning, and scheduling construction operations to ensure safe, efficient, and timely project performance. Perform field engineering and design of temporary structures including formwork, false work, and lift plans. Coordinate survey crew activities, manage quantity tracking and project costing, and prepare equipment requisitions. Resolve field conflicts, liaise with subcontractors, and notify engineers of potential cost impacts. Maintain daily project diaries, document time and material work, and assist in project closeout.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year degrees in engineering / construction management or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience
- minimum of 4 years similar construction engineering and/or surveying experience
- Excellent management and supervisory skills
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Proficient in database and project controls computer application systems, MS Excel, MS Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Position may be subject to pre-employment screening, which may include background check and drug testing
