Job Summary

Oversee project controls, scheduling, and procurement for industrial construction sites while managing subcontractor operations and leading field engineers. Execute quantity calculations, material takeoffs, and cost forecasting to drive productivity tracking and maintain accurate project schedules. Represent the company in client interactions, prepare contract reports, and manage daily labor timesheets and purchase orders. Lead safety reviews, toolbox meetings, and site inspections to ensure compliance with corporate and project-specific safety plans. Act as the primary company representative in the absence of the Project Manager, coordinating work groups and overseeing field office staff. Work full-time, 50 hours per week, with up to 90% travel required across multiple US states for project-based assignments lasting 6 to 18 months.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years' experience as a Field Engineer or similar role
  • INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE
  • Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations
  • Ability to read, analyze and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents
  • Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environment
  • Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
  • Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity

  • Stamina to perform this task repetitively and continuously for several hour intervals
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to- safety toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.)
  • Move in and around confined, cluttered, and uneven areas
  • May need to work at heights and must be able to abide by all safety and fall-protection requirements; must be able to wear and utilize all safety equipment required for work at heights
