Field Engineer

Field Engineer to support Louisiana Bridge Builders’ Construction team on the I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge project in Lake Charles, LA. Responsibilities include providing construction site engineering resources, planning civil procedures with field supervision to ensure compliance with design and specs, interpreting drawings and specifications for field crews, distributing the latest construction drawings, planning field layout and marking utilities, preparing RFPs for key work packages in coordination with construction managers, coordinating field work by subcontractors and supplier meetings with procurement, and performing additional duties as assigned. Must have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or equivalent, with 0+ years of construction field experience (or 8+ years with a high school diploma or equivalent) and a valid driver’s license. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, adaptability to change, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.100
