Job Summary
The Field Engineer will support night shift operations for construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and efficiency in field operations. Key responsibilities include collaborating with foremen to track work plans, developing reports on daily quantities and material yields, and assisting in the maintenance of project logs and schedules. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field and have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
- Experience of 2+ years in a similar role preferred
- Valid driver’s license for occasional required travel
- Moderate physical activity on construction sites in various weather conditions
- Manual dexterity to handle construction-related tasks
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in night shift construction operations
- Foundational knowledge of drawing and specifications, estimating and CPM scheduling
- Strong skills in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, and drive efficiency in night operations
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
