Job Summary
Assist with evaluation of field conditions, acceptance testing, and quality assurance of engineering materials. Apply survey knowledge to project layout and checking, while reviewing drawings to coordinate design changes and manage document control. Perform quantity tracking, productivity analysis, and schedule updates to maximize operation efficiency. Initiate engineering design clarifications, respond to field inquiries, and manage subcontractor operations to verify contract payments. Provide design assistance for temporary structures using computer-aided design tools. Support the Project Manager and on-site staff in applying engineering principles across various project locations.
Required Qualifications
- currently enrolled in a(n) Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar program at an accredited technical college or university
- working knowledge of the entire project, including plan interpretation, project specifications, project cost code knowledge, and the overall construction schedule
- survey knowledge
