Job Summary
Evaluate field conditions and acceptance testing while supporting quality assurance and quality control engineering materials testing. Apply survey knowledge to assist with project layout and checking of work against plans and specifications. Review project drawings, coordinate design changes, and provide document control assistance for correspondence and submittals. Initiate engineering design clarifications, perform quantity tracking and productivity analysis, and assist in preparing and updating project schedules. Respond to field design clarifications, manage subcontractor operations, and verify contract payments. Provide design assistance for temporary structures using computer-aided design tools. Interns must be currently enrolled in an Engineering or Construction Management program at an accredited institution.
Required Qualifications
- currently enrolled in a(n) Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar program at an accredited technical college or university
- working knowledge of the entire project, including plan interpretation, project specifications, project cost code knowledge, and the overall construction schedule
- survey knowledge
