Job Summary
Assure RAM data collection and vehicle management by defining data records structures and controlling changes to vehicle configurations. Manage infrastructure systems to receive maintenance alerts and develop means for condition-based maintenance support. Provide performance analysis for engineering stakeholders, update spare parts lists, and conduct level of repair analysis to define cost-effective corrective actions. Support maintenance operations through troubleshooting, technical specification preparation for depot tools, and training team members. Validate maintenance manuals, propose upgrades, and develop continuous improvement tools by analyzing failure data and optimizing maintenance regimes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years railway vehicles maintenance engineering application experience
- Previous work in railway maintenance sector, with particular focus on maintenance plan optimization, complex troubleshooting and RAMS analysis
- Willing to take on big challenges with large-scale Regional projects
- Able to perform vehicle system diagnosis and analysis
- Able to interpret contract specification
- Able to read, understand and interpret drawing, schematics and pneumatics plan
- Availability to short trip, typically lasting some days, for mostly of time (i.e., more than 60%)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in Maintenance Field engineering on railway fleets
- Basic working knowledge of Rail Train Subsystem such as Automatic Train Supervision, Vehicle, Telecommunication, STB, Pneumatic brake, traction converter, high voltage gear, HVAC, etc.
- Knowledge and ability to review maintenance documentation from sub-suppliers
- Basic understanding of software configuration managements (CM)
- Knowledge and experience in wheel set parameters
- Basic working knowledge of statistical analysis program
- Previous experience on ECM projects and Homologation planning
- Railway Operations and Signaling principles
- SAP environment knowledge
- Planning and organization
- Spare part analysis, definition and forecast setup according to return of experience
- Design to maintain and continuous improvement willingness and attitude
- Used to work in industrial environments (i.e. warehouse, rolling stock depots)
- Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic Degree or equivalent technical background
- English Proficiency
