Job Summary
Field Engineer sought to install and troubleshoot network infrastructure at customer sites across the UK, including wireless surveys, service provisioning activations, fault resolution, and delivery reporting. Requires hands-on experience configuring/troubleshooting networking equipment, PON/FTTH knowledge, Cat5/6 and fibre installations, plus strong analytical/problem-solving skills. Required Qualifications
- Worked within a customer-focused environment
- Experienced in configuring and troubleshooting networking equipment
- Conversant with principles and standards for Passive Optical Networks (PONs) and Point to Point networks with reference to Fibre to the Home (FTTH) and fibre to the premises installations
- Installation, acceptance test and fault find of Cat 5/6, multi/single-mode fibre systems equipment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Right to work in the UK at time of application
