Job Summary
Meet daily with project crews to review production schedules and confirm materials, equipment, and resources are available for on-time, on-budget work. Collect, coordinate, and analyze shop drawings, design specifications, and project data to ensure quality and contract compliance. Provide technical input for work plans and scheduling, identify production risks, and evaluate daily projections to track performance. Document activities using approved methods, remit accurate quantity inputs with cost coding, and review daily timecards for all construction crews. Approve project specifications for quality assurance, initiate certificates and inspections, and coordinate subcontractor methods and schedules. Plan field layouts, mark utility lines, and manage necessary permits before production begins.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 1+ years of construction engineering experience
- Beginner knowledge of construction equipment & techniques
- Beginner knowledge of drawing & specifications
- Beginner knowledge of building materials
- Beginner knowledge of required standards applicable to the project
- Ability to assume responsibility
- Ability to interface and communicate effectively with others
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
