Job Summary
Meet daily with project crews to review production schedules and confirm materials, equipment, and resources are available for on-time, on-budget work. Collect and analyze shop drawings, design specifications, and project data to ensure quality and contract compliance while providing technical input for work plans and scheduling. Evaluate daily production and budget projections to track performance, document activities, and remit accurate project quantity inputs using assigned cost coding. Review project specifications for quality assurance, initiate inspections, and coordinate subcontractor methods, crews, and necessary permits. Manage timecards for all construction crews and resolve inquiries with office management and payroll. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1+ years of construction engineering experience. Salary range is $90,000 to $100,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 1+ years of construction engineering experience
- Beginner knowledge of construction equipment & techniques
- Beginner knowledge of drawing & specifications
- Beginner knowledge of building materials
- Beginner knowledge of required standards applicable to the project
- Ability to assume responsibility
- Ability to interface and communicate effectively with others
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
