Job Summary
Field Engineer - Electrical Construction role supporting MEC/Kiewit projects across multiple US sites. Responsibilities include interpreting drawings and specs for field crews, performing quantity takeoffs and work plans, assisting in field surveying and as-built data, preparing JHA’s and safety reviews, coordinating material deliveries and work groups, and supervising field operations. Office engineering support includes takeoffs, data gathering for submittals, purchase orders, subcontracting, scheduling updates, and cost-recordkeeping. Estimating assistance involves historical data review and bid preparation. Requires 3+ years of construction field experience, an undergraduate degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field, and ability to travel/relocate as needed. Strong communication, teamwork, ethics, safety focus, and attention to detail are essential.
