Job Summary
Support process improvements by creating, modifying, and seeking approval for procedures. Develop and analyze a "Field Playbook" while applying Design Manufacture Construct (DMC) principles to improve cost, quality, and velocity. Collect construction data to drive continuous improvement and develop labor, material, and equipment standards. Create process maps depicting current and future state material and people flow, then teach and execute recommendations based on experience. Lead productivity activities including Kaizen, problem solving, and standards modification. Assist Production management in process execution, participate in prototyping, and review information flow to improve communication throughout DMC. Analyze installation tasks to determine if processes can be improved through design, new materials, or modified approaches.
Required Qualifications
- Process Engineer I
- Bachelors Degree
- 1 - 3 years of experience in manufacturing environment
- New product or new process launch experience
- Process Engineer II
- Bachelors Degree
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing environment
- New product or new process launch experience
