Job Summary
Commercial Construction Field Engineer responsible for on-site coordination, documentation, and technical support for ground-up and interior improvement projects ranging from $1.5M–$5M. Key duties include assisting Project Managers and Superintendents, tracking RFIs/submittals/change orders, supporting budgeting/forecasting, reviewing plans and specs, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, aiding in safety and quality compliance, tracking inspections and approvals, maintaining as-built/closeout documentation, and providing meeting minutes and field administrative support. Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Projects is required alongside strong organizational and communication skills; role emphasizes field execution, documentation, and continuous growth within the company.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in a Field Engineer or related role within commercial construction
- College or university degree in a construction-related field preferred
- Understanding of construction terms, scheduling, and planning
- Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Projects, Excel, etc.
