Job Summary
Conduct on-site equipment installation, upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting for diverse clients across the UK, with a primary focus on Bristol and the South West region. Manage network installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for routers, firewalls, and wireless technologies, including SonicWall, WatchGuard, and DrayTec devices. Perform server and OS deployment for Microsoft Server 2012 onwards, Windows 7 onwards, and MacOSX environments. This role requires a driving licence and proficiency with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Hyper-V, and VMware. Candidates should possess relevant Microsoft certifications or an MCP qualification. The position offers 37.5 hours per week in a hybrid schedule within the South West, UK, with a compensation range of £30,000 to £35,000.
Required Qualifications
- Driving Licence
- Modern Workplace expertise, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
- Proficiency with on-premises exchange, O365, and Azure
- Knowledge of Hyper-V and VMware
- Competency in router and firewall configurations, particularly SonicWall, WatchGuard, and DrayTec
- Network installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with wireless technologies, including Ubiquity, DrayTec, and Ruckus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Server from 2012 onwards, including building, configuring, and installing
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows 7 onwards
- Familiarity with MacOSX and mobile operating systems (Apple and Android)
- Microsoft MCP qualification or higher
- certifications in any of the mentioned fields
