Job Summary
Senior IT Field Engineer responsible for on-site and remote support across desktops, servers, storage, networking, and Cisco routing. Leads rack-and-stack deployments, performs preventive maintenance, hardware replacements, server/storage administration, network configuration and security, and mentors junior engineers. Requires strong analytical and communication skills, ability to manage multiple on-site priorities, and willingness to travel to client sites. Proficient in diagnosing complex IT infrastructure issues and ensuring uptime, with focus on enterprise-grade hardware and network devices including Cisco routers/switches and storage systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft, or VMware are highly desirable
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT Field Support, including Level 3 or senior technical roles
- Strong proficiency in diagnosing and resolving complex IT infrastructure issues
- Ability to lead technical operations independently and manage multiple on-site priorities
- Must possess a valid driving licence and be willing to travel across client sites as required
