Job Summary
Field Enforcement Officer responsible for visiting addresses where TV licences are not recorded, explaining licensing requirements and available options, and setting up payment plans. You’ll work from home with a company vehicle or allowance, travel locally in Edinburgh/Kirkcaldy, record visit outcomes via mobile technology, and attend court as part of enforcement when required. The role involves independent fieldwork, strong customer interaction, and routine use of tech and documentation tools; training and benefits are provided, with a flexible 36.5-hour schedule including evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stay calm and professional with customers
- Problem-solving mindset with good judgement
- High attention to accuracy when recording information
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
- Comfort with technology, including mobile devices and apps
- Mobility and readiness to travel locally within KY4,5,11,12, EH28-30, EH47-48, EH52-55 postcodes
