Job Summary
Field Dock & Door Service Tech responsible for installing, diagnosing, and repairing warehouse docks and doors. Perform new installations, evaluate repair needs, and communicate downtime and job progress to customers and internal teams. Operate safely with minimal supervision. Key skills include electrical knowledge and use of a multimeter, general equipment knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 50-100 pounds, drive a van/truck to customer locations, and maintain safety practices in outdoor and facility environments. Must be capable of performing all job duties with safety as a priority and adhere to safety protocols during service calls.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience installing and repairing loading dock equipment, commercial doors, and high-speed doors preferred
- Minimum 21 years of age with a clean driving record
- Above-average communication skills
- Ability to complete DOT medical certification if assigned DOT-rated vehicle
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Possessing or having the ability to obtain a complete line of tools
