Field Diesel Mechanic - Customer Equipment

Job Summary
Perform maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer-owned equipment while using independent judgment. Travel to customer job sites for repairs and maintain the service vehicle in a clean, professional manner. Assist in training lower-level technicians, maintain daily electronic documentation of work orders, and upsell complex equipment to customers. Handle pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts as assigned. This safety-sensitive role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and 5+ years of experience repairing diesel systems.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- 5+ years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools
- Advanced mechanical aptitude
- Working knowledge of tools
- Knowledge of construction equipment
- Strong mechanical background knowledge of various engines
- Advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs
- Superior customer service
