Job Summary
Field Diesel Mechanic – CES performs safe maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on customer-owned equipment at customer sites with limited supervision; maintains paperwork/electronic work orders in a timely manner; upsells and demonstrates a wide array of equipment; travels to customer job sites and may assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts; must own tools and possess a valid driver's license; strong focus on customer service and teamwork; safety-sensitive role.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- 3-5 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Knowledge of construction equipment and strong mechanical background knowledge of various engines
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
