Job Summary
Learn key applications and business processes, including PM Suite, EC, ProTrend, and integrations across upstream and downstream systems. Analyze data using mining, querying, and analytical tools like Oracle SQL, SSRS, and PowerBI. Assist with testing application upgrades, developing exception reporting for volumetric data validation, and creating process documentation. Receive and resolve support issues for select properties while participating in ad hoc projects. This 12-month term begins September 2027 for students in Operations Management or Computer Science, offering a 5-day on, 2-day off schedule with competitive compensation and volunteer opportunities within the oil and gas sector.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in your 2nd, 3rd, 4th year of an undergraduate degree program in Operations Management or Computer Science
- Strong team player with the ability to work effectively and build strong working relationships across disciplines, departments and other teams
- Legal authorization to work in Canada with no restrictions
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity and understanding of: Research strategies and analytical thinking
- Familiarity and understanding of: Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity and understanding of: Oracle SQL and Oracle PL/SQL, SSRS, PowerBI would be an asset
- Knowledge of Oil & Gas terminology and concepts would be an asset
