Job Summary
Provide prompt, professional service to members and insureds via phone, in person, and electronic channels. Assist with membership applications, review delinquent reports daily, and contact members for renewals and data updates. Observe daily deposit preparations and collaborate on cross-training to ensure seamless task completion. Support the President and Board with agriculture promotion activities and general clerical duties. Obtain and maintain a General Lines Property and Casualty license within 45 days of employment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Obtain and maintain General Lines Property and Casualty license pursuant to Texas law
- Ability to type a minimum of 45 WPM with a maximum of 5% errors
- Basic knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Effective interpersonal verbal skills, in person and via telephone
- Ability to plan, organize, and complete detailed work independently or in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate several tasks at the same time
- Willing and able to learn new skills and refine existing skills as needed
- Valid Texas driver's license and driving record at the time of hire which would not disqualify the employee from driving for business purposes
