Job Summary
Field Crew Chief for Residential Land Surveying responsible for performing field surveying duties using GPS, total stations, and data collectors to determine elevations and property boundaries for title surveys and elevation certificates. Outdoor work year-round, lifting up to 70 pounds as needed, with a Monday–Friday schedule and some weekend work during seasonal months; roles located in West Palm Beach, Port St Lucie, or Fort Pierce, FL, reporting to Field Manager and ensuring data accuracy, equipment/vehicle maintenance, and professional client interactions while adhering to company policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED diploma required
- Two years job related experience in the surveying industry desired
- Valid Driver’s License and driving record that meets our insurance requirements
- Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide and perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance and understand algebra, trigonometry, and geometry
- Able to operate instruments required for the collection or distribution of survey data (total station, data collector, GPS)
- Proficient in the independent application and use of job-related software/e-technology/cloud-based solutions
