Field Credit Officer (Edo)

Job Summary
Onboard viable businesses within your assigned geographical area to open Moniepoint business accounts and engage customers to ensure optimal usage for credit qualification. Conduct physical visitations to potential borrowers' premises to evaluate business books, inventory, and turnover while reviewing and approving or declining loan requests based on available data. Meet gross loan portfolio and profit targets by maintaining a healthy number of performing customers and monitoring active loans to ensure continued account usage and timely repayment. Submit credit recommendations to management regarding best actions before, during, and after disbursement, prioritizing capacity, character, and capital assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of an OND in any business-related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a sales role for credit products in a financial institution
- Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis
- Must be resident in any of these locations: Edo: Ovia, Edo North, Edo Central, and Edo South
Desired Qualifications
- Good knowledge of financial analysis is an added advantage
