Job Summary
MGX Field Crane Technicians are responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mobile cranes and boom trucks. This role requires light diagnosis, thorough annual inspections, and providing excellent customer service. Technicians need a mechanical background, experience with electrical and hydraulic systems, and must be able to perform preventative maintenance. A valid driver’s license is mandatory. The position offers a competitive pay rate from $25.00 to $45.00 per hour, with additional benefits including a sign-on bonus and a tool reimbursement program.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a mechanical background and related experience with electrical and hydraulics
- Must be able to read both electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Must have experience in preventative maintenance and light equipment repair
- Excellent communication skills with a customer/client focus
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Crane Mechanic/Technician preferred
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Experience working with different forms of mobile crane and/or heavy equipment is a plus
