Job Summary
Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain various mobile cranes and boom trucks, including light hydraulic and lattice equipment. Perform thorough annual inspections and troubleshoot issues independently without direct supervision. Complete working reports, hours sheets, and expense documentation while providing excellent customer service. Travel up to 50% of the time to job sites for training and repairs. Work full-time hours between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm with potential overtime and weekend availability. Operate in varying weather conditions while adhering to all safety protocols and wearing required P.P.E.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- one (1) year of experience as a Crane Mechanic/Technician
- mechanical background
- related experience with electrical and hydraulics
- ability to read both electrical and hydraulic schematics
- experience in preventative maintenance
- experience in light equipment repair
- valid driver's license
- satisfactory driving record
Desired Qualifications
- experience as a Crane Mechanic/Technician
- Basic computer skills
- Experience working with different forms of mobile crane and/or heavy equipment
