Job Summary
Field Construction Resource overseeing Construction Project Management for Skilled Nursing Facilities. Responsible for overall direction, administration, and financial outcome of construction projects; manages scopes of work, bid process, contracts, budgets, and schedules; coordinates with vendors, architects, and contractors; tracks costs and processing of invoices/pay applications; develops and manages the 5-year Facility Construction and Maintenance Plan; trains Life Safety Resources; conducts site walks and property evaluations; requires frequent travel (up to 90%) and residence in Kansas; pre-employment background screening; Bachelor's preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required
- 1+ years of experience in Construction or Facilities Project Management
- Facilities or Construction Management experience with multiple operational locations or General Contractor overseeing small to midsize renovations
- Experience with on-site assessments, budget estimates, and project cost management
- Ability to develop scopes of work, RFPs, vendor selection, and project monitoring
- Experience managing vendors and validating invoicing
- Strong computer skills (MS Office)
- Frequent travel by car and/or plane
- Must reside in Kansas
