Job Summary
Field Connection Specialist at ImOn Communications installs, operates, inspects, maintains, and services ImOn’s high-speed internet and digital phone equipment at customers’ premises. You will travel to customer sites to install, connect, or adjust equipment, test and measure signals, inspect lines/cables, and string lines or install terminal boxes. You’ll explain cable service to subscribers and collect installation dues. The role emphasizes strong customer service, independent and team collaboration, attention to detail, and effective communication. Training is provided with structured advancement from Field Connection Specialist I to higher levels, and benefits include health insurance, 401(k) with match, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High-school diploma or equivalent GED or work experience
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with a driving record that allows employee to be insured by ImOn’s insurance carrier
- Good Communication Skills: Job Requires effective communication with customers and coworkers
- Leadership: Job requires creativity and willingness to lead, take charge and offer opinions and direction
- Attention to Detail: Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks
- Ability to meet company training and safety certification standards
- Level II Requirements: At least 2 years of telecommunications installation experience.
