Job Summary
Maintain production facilities and compressor/booster stations by performing troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, and replacement as needed. Start and stop compressors while monitoring field volumes, rates, levels, and alarms to make adjustments or guide personnel. Write, review, and oversee work permits for construction and maintenance, ensuring safe operations and compliance with federal and state regulations. Participate in daily communication between operators, supervisors, and commercial teams while cross-training across the asset area. Operate independently or from the Operations Control Center, adhering to all company procedures and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required
- 2+ years of formal or industry experience in oil/gas field is preferred
- Working knowledge of screw & reciprocating compressors
- Knowledge of oil & gas operations (Amine and Glycol systems, Compression, pipelines, measurement etc.) desired
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, Cygnet (or other SCADA system), and IMaps (or Google Maps) preferred
- Good time management, communication and people skills
- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively across cross functional groups
