Job Summary
Field Clinical Specialist provides technical and clinical support to Sales Representatives within a defined territory. Responsible for pacemaker and ICD follow-up, in-service training for physicians and hospital staff, training sales reps in cardiac pacing and competitor products, supporting clinical studies, and ensuring accurate paperwork for implants and data collection. Requires certification in tachycardia implant and IBHRE certification within required timelines; travel within the Area Sales Director's territory with up to 30% out-of-town travel; strong clinical knowledge of cardiac pacing, defibrillators, and electrophysiology; professional communication with physicians, nursing staff, and hospital personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Nursing, Physiology, Biology, orBio-Engineering. Graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years’ experience working in cardiac cath lab, EP lab, or pacing business with specific emphasis on pacemaker and ICD support.
- Pacemaker implantation and/or follow-up experience.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of the Company
