Field Chemist

Sort and transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials while ensuring compatibility and safety. Assist in segregating chemicals by hazard class, packing compatible materials, and completing necessary paperwork for each job. Determine supplies for job completion and characterize materials at field project sites. Adhere to proper placarding and load segregation requirements when transporting hazardous materials. Direct Field Technicians and Drivers assisting with waste collection. Maintain knowledge of high-hazard materials management and cylinder handling. Travel to various industry, laboratory, and educational sites to perform lab pack services. Report to the Field Office during the day and return at the end of the day. Maintain a clean-shaven appearance for respirator protection.
