Job Summary
Sort and transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials while ensuring compatibility and safety at every project. Assist in segregating chemicals by hazard class, pack compatible materials into appropriate containers, and complete necessary paperwork for each job. Determine and load supplies, travel to industry and laboratory sites to perform lab pack services, and characterize materials at field locations. Adhere to proper placarding and load segregation requirements when transporting hazardous materials. Direct Field Technicians and Drivers assisting with waste collection, maintain knowledge of high-hazard materials management, and develop customer relations through effective communication. Maintain a clean-shaven appearance to don respirators for protection. Requires a Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement, valid driver's license, and ability to travel.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree
- Valid Driver's License
- ability to obtain a Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement within 6 months of hire date
- ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record search to Company standards
- clean shaven at all times in order to don a respirator for protection
