Job Summary
Provide personal care and light housekeeping to hospice patients in a variety of settings (homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, boats, etc.) per care plan developed by the Interdisciplinary Team; assist skilled nursing staff by providing personal care and support to the caregiver; complete daily schedule of visits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Current/active Florida CNA certification
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; personal car in good working order
- Able to work well with Interdisciplinary Team Members
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to cope with high stress levels related to terminally ill patients/families and flexibility with frequent changes to assignments/duties based on patient needs
