Job Summary
Field Case Manager (12-month Contract) responsible for serving as primary contact for physicians, educating healthcare providers on program services, navigating reimbursement and enrollment processes, reviewing patient charts, and guiding physicians on patient status and program changes. Responsibilities include ensuring timely specialty authorizations and documentation, adapting program elements for in-clinic and remote care, and maintaining strong relationships with physicians and program stakeholders. Requires RN or related degree, knowledge of reimbursement, bilingual ability (French/English), and strong communication, organizational, and remote-work capabilities. Proficiency in medical terminology, documentation, and Microsoft Office; valid driver's license and private home office space are required. Located for remote work in Alberta, Canada; bilingual assets and potential regional considerations for Quebec and New Brunswick. This role emphasizes client-focused support, program optimization, and collaboration with healthcare providers to improve patient access to therapies and reimbursement workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) or related degree (BSc in Pharmacy or other Science degrees) or equivalent transferable skills
- Knowledge of public or private third-party reimbursement arena
- Bilingualism is an asset (requirement for province of Quebec)
- Previous Case Manager experience is an asset
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and French (oral and written) for the Quebec and New Brunswick Provinces
