Job Summary
Drive canvassing-based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads for sales representative follow-up while managing a multi-team territory to exceed established KPIs. Identify, schedule, and plan route calendars including evenings and weekends for a team of Field Canvassers in assigned high-probability neighborhoods. Recruit, hire, train, and develop Field Canvassers, creating accountability through marketing goals and lead generation metrics. Manage permit requirements to ensure compliance with local ordinances and collaborate with Operations and Installation Managers to grow brand presence. Track and report lead generation metrics to evaluate performance and ROI. Requires 2+ years of management experience in direct-to-consumer field canvassing, ability to work outside in varying climates, and evening/weekend availability. Local travel required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of management experience in field canvassing for direct-to-consumer industry.
- Experience in customer service and/or sales.
- Experience in lead generation, experiential marketing, and/or field canvassing.
- Experience recruiting, onboarding, and training marketing, canvassing, and/or event staff.
- Knowledge of current best practices and new strategies for canvassing and direct to consumer field marketing.
- Ability to work outside in varying climates.
- Ability to work evenings and/or weekends.
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a 'roll up your sleeves' and 'win every day' mentality.
- Hold oneself accountable and responsible while being self-driven in accomplishing goals.
- Detail-oriented and can focus on task at hand by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels to communicate with internal and external stakeholders articulately.
- Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, and engage in reflection.
- Ability to provide timely and empathetic service through all communication channels keeping peer and customer needs first.
- Local travel required.
- Additional hours may be required (exempt positions).
- Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous door-to-door canvassing experience.
- Home improvement knowledge and/or experience.
