Job Summary
Drive canvassing-based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads for sales representative follow-up and exceed established quotas. Identify, schedule, and plan route calendars including evenings and weekends for a team of Field Canvassers within a multi-team territory. Recruit, hire, train, and develop Field Canvassers while managing permit requirements to ensure compliance with local ordinances. Collaborate with the Field Canvassing Manager, Operations, and Installation Managers to grow brand presence, and track lead generation metrics to evaluate performance and ROI. Requires 2+ years of management experience in direct-to-consumer field canvassing, ability to work outside in varying climates, and evenings or weekends. Local travel required; additional hours may be needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of management experience in field canvassing for direct-to-consumer industry.
- Experience in customer service and/or sales.
- Experience in lead generation, experiential marketing, and/or field canvassing.
- Experience recruiting, onboarding, and training marketing, canvassing, and/or event staff.
- Knowledge of current best practices and new strategies for canvassing and direct to consumer field marketing.
- Ability to work outside in varying climates.
- Ability to work evenings and/or weekends.
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
- Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, and engage in reflection.
- Ability to provide timely and empathetic service through all communication channels keeping peer and customer needs first.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous door-to-door canvassing experience.
- Home improvement knowledge and/or experience.
