Job Summary
Participate in a two-person team with the Field Based Social Work Supervisor to support clients with substance use disorders in shelter settings. Educate clients on NARCAN, harm reduction, and safe use practices; meet clients in assigned shelters; provide peer support during meals and recreation; escort clients to SUD service providers; attend community meetings; collect data and write progress notes; report to the Field Based Social Worker; build rapport with shelter staff; provide emergency first aid/CPR when needed. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred; basic computer literacy required. Vaccination preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. diploma/ GED
- Certified Peer Specialist (CRPA) Certificate
