Job Summary
Field-based Medical Affairs Manager for vaccines who acts as a scientific resource across defined disease areas, building and managing relationships with external experts, healthcare professionals, and professional associations. Responsible for communicating disease-area data, supporting medical education in partnership with medical societies and digital platforms, stakeholder identification and mapping, developing and maintaining knowledge on disease areas, and leading local engagement plans within their geographical area. Acts as a conduit with the in-house medical group, supports scientific symposia, and leads allocated projects; requires strong scientific acumen, presentation skills, and professional/ethical behavior. Education in life sciences (Pharmacist, MSc, PhD or equivalent) and 1-3 years of relevant industry experience are required. Flexibility and ability to work independently are important.
Required Qualifications
- Pharmacist, MSc, PhD or degree in life sciences
- 1-3 years of pharmaceutical/biotech or relevant industry experience
- Field experience desirable
- Experience in Vaccines/CVMD or related therapeutic area
- Strong scientific/medical knowledge and ability to communicate to HCP/EE
- Ability to manage relationships with external stakeholders and professional associations
- Knowledge of regulations governing information provision to healthcare professionals and stakeholders
- Demonstrated presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with integrity and ethical behavior
- Ability to plan and organize activities and collaborate with medical leadership
