Job Summary
Field-based Medical Affairs Manager (Oncology) to lead external scientific engagements with oncologists and healthcare professionals, generate and communicate high-quality medical insights from external engagements, and support advisory boards, medical education programs, workshops, and congress activities. Will collaborate with medical, clinical, regulatory and commercial teams to shape local medical strategies while ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards; requires the ability to work independently in the field, travel within Malaysia, and build credible relationships to support patient care and evidence generation.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MBBS/MD) or postgraduate degree (Master’s or PhD) in life sciences
- Minimum 2 years experience in medical affairs or related roles, preferably in oncology
- Strong understanding of oncology disease areas and clinical data interpretation
- Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships with healthcare professionals
- Familiarity with the Malaysian healthcare and oncology ecosystem
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly within Malaysia
